We very much enjoyed the mushrooms for an appetizer, then the pulled pork meal this evening with baked beans, slaw and fried apples. The service was great and the atmosphere very comfortable. We sat inside, but it was a great weather day and had choices of outside seating. We see many more menu choices we will be trying. Steak, fish, wings, chicken, burgers, sides, salads and other appetizers.
I stopped in for a quick lunch, and had a great experience. They were efficient and friendly, and served up a decent Ruben. (I have high standards for Rubens.) I'll be back. Update: I stopped in today, and was pleasantly surprised by the $5 lunch special. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans today. I believe they're doing lunch specials daily for $5.
My boyfriend and I went for lunch. Food was great! He got the cabin burger and fries and I got pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. Hands down best sweet potato fries I've ever had and the sandwich was good too. Our server was very friendly. Its a cozy little place and we will for sure return. :)
The exterior and interior are in keeping with the historic feel of the whole town. The food was prompt and arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. We had one mistake with our order but the waiter was immediate to fix the issue, and we had the correct dish within minutes. Most sweet potato fries are limp, but these were crisp too perfection. The Reuben was probably the best I've had in years, and is a must have.
Not a good experience! Hot hot inside. Cooler outside, but we figured if the food was good it would be worth it. Well, food I really can't say, because we never got what we ordered. Waited 30 minutes for napkin and silverware after we asked 3 times. Waitress said. Not sure if we have them. What?? Well when our steaks finally arrived... They where not steaks. IT WAS A SALAD!! When I told the waitress that is not what we ordered she got MAD... I asked if we could please have what we ordered and she said.. We are out of it. What. So you think you.can serve whatever? No she came back and said.. oh I must.habe put it wrong. Well ... The last little today bit... The waitress was nice enough to offer a 25% discount if we would eat the salad. She the grab the salads off the table and said some Very unprofessional words. We then left. To probably.never go back. Would not recommend!!!!
