Not sure what goes on in this office but not happy. Boys love the dentist but I question their ability. Been with then 1 1/2 years. 1st appointment went great but had to go back to get teeth removed and spacers on my 9 year olds teeth. On my way to the appointment they called and canceled. Too late to not take off work. so rescheduled took another 3 weeks to get in. got there they removed the teeth. got home and asked to see it and not spacers. they forgot to put them in. Rescheduled. another 2 weeks. they called and canceled. Rescheduled. 2 more weeks. got in and all was good. 1st spacer fell out in about 2 months. called they said not to worry about it they would put it back in on his next visit ( that will be in May 6 months latter. 2nd spacer fell out about 2 months before his next visit. called to make sure they knew. They said not to worry he was at an age that he didn't really need them ?? then why did you put then in? They Before the next visit they called and canceled and rescheduled. I work so try to schedule all doctor visits on the same day so I don't have to take so many days off work. so I call my dentist and the Eye doctor and reschedule all appointments around this dentist. The call and cancel this appointment and reschedule. I can not reschedule My dentist for the same day but I do reschedule the eye doctor for the same day. Works out good because they are both in Corydon. so now I'm off 2 days instead of 1. Ok they called and rescheduled for they day they called. I have to leave work to get them in the dentist or wait another month. Ok what ever lets get this done. Ok one of the boys has to have a tooth filled. I let them pick the day and time. I also have to have a tooth filled. so I call my dentist to schedule for the same day. I go to work today fill out a vacation form for this day and just received an ok. I also just got a call that the dentist will not be in that day and they need to reschedule. ARE YOU SERIOUS! This is the most un professional office I have ever been to. A bargain department store with a close out sale is more organized and dependable then this office. If I could give then no starts I would.
Do not go here! They are another one of those chains that need to meet a quota. What’s really sad is one of their employees warned me against Immediadent and Aspen dental as they too have a quota to fill. Then this place turns around and does the same thing! After my cleaning and X-rays, I had literally 1 minute with the dentist who barely even looked at my teeth just the X-rays and left quoted almost 4000 in dental work! Got a second opinion.... thank God, no work even needed done. All needed was a softer toothbrush, special toothpaste, and to floss better!
The staff is pleasant but if you are looking for a dentist who has compassion, keep looking. My husband was in a lot of pain with tooth broken below the gum line. It would be a week before he could get a consultation and follow up removal. Dr Elias would not give him anything for pain. Dentist such as this are why so many people fear dentists. I broke my appointment and told the lady in the office that I would look for someone with a heart. My husband wound up using whiskey for his pain! That is unacceptable.
$20 visit. They got me in and xrayed. Friendly. Wrote me meds and offered me a follow up. I recommend for people who don't like mouth pain and hate being touched there they were very good about that.
My son and I both had a new patient appointment at 2 PM. When they called to remind me of our appointments I told them it was my two-year-old’s first time at the dentist and I would need to go back with him. So they said they move my appointment a LITTLE later. His appointment took a whole five minutes and I sat in the waiting room and watched multiple people come in the door and get called back before me. I went up to the desk once and she told me it would be a few minutes. After more people got called back and I sat there even longer I went up again and told them that I wanted to cancel. One of the girls in the back said go ahead and cancel her and acted like she was not concerned with the fact that I was waiting that long. After I decided to cancel I found out they had moved my appointment over an hour past my sons five minute appointment at two. They did not bother to tell me that on the phone or when I when up to the desk the first time. Also when they asked if I had any concerns with my son as I was telling the assistant my concern, she went walking down the hallway and said OK from out in the hallway. Rude.
